Messianics keep all the docrtines and theologies of their differing Christian denominations, but they sex it up with hebrew verbage, candles, kippahs, shofors and such. They devote themselves to wily missionary attempts to convert Jews to their Christian theology.

There is also a growing movement within Christianity which seeks to explore the Hebraic roots of the faith.  Many people find their faith strengthened by studying and restoring the Jewish traditions. I passed through Messianic Judaism as a part of my teshuvah yet was never comfortable with the notion that other non-christian believers were damned.
