Christians never seem to agree on much. They have the same Bible and 1000 denominations all claiming truth.

Christians from every denomination and sect argue over this concept. Nobody seems to know who Jesus really is.

People prayed to Jesus and said he was God, yet, he had a "Father". How could Jesus be God then? Well, the Father was God too. And to make matters worse, there was another God in the picture: the Holy Spirit.

All 3 of these seperate people were God. Some told me that the trinity was a mystery. Well, I don't debate the mysteries of our Creator. If it's a mystery, then I can't approach it as a salvation issue.

I decided this would make since if I knew something about what the early Christians believed. It turned out they were all followers of the religion of Judaism. When the faith spread, the Romans persecuted, then adopted and changed the creeds. As people converted, they grafted into this new religion their mythology while setting aside their Jewish heritage.

 The bottom line conclusion is that much of Christian theology and tradition predate Christianity itself.
